Three New Priests for Youth Apostles

Bishop Michael Burbidge of the Diocese of Arlington ordained three new Youth Apostles priests on June 6, 2026. In preparation for this Sacrament, the Arlington Catholic Herald shared the vocation stories of this year's ordinandi. These inspiring articles offer a glimpse into the ways God has called each man to the priesthood and the journeys that led them to this important milestone.

Among those to be ordained were three members of Youth Apostles:

  • Father Jim Harbour, YA

  • Father Eric McDade, YA

  • Father Sean Mazary, YA

Their stories reflect the many ways the Lord works through family, friendship, service, prayer, and encounters with Christ to draw men to a life of priestly ministry.

We invite you to take some time to read their vocation stories in the Arlington Catholic Herald and join us in praying for them as they begin their priestly vocation. Please also keep all of the ordinandi in your prayers as they begin their ministry as priests serving the People of God.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen them as they answer God's call.
