My Story
As a cradle Catholic who decided to take my faith seriously while a teen at All Saints Youth Ministry, I've always had a great appreciation for good community and accountability. This was doubly enforced during my time as a student at Virginia Tech, which is one of the many reasons I'm excited to return! After graduation, I took a job in government contracting and continued to volunteer my time with youth ministry. Those evenings spent at ministry continued to be highpoints of my week, and a desire to commit myself to it fully grew in my heart. I began searching for opportunities to apply for, but it wasn't until I prayed at the tomb of St Ignatius in Rome that the Lord opened a door for me. A few hours after leaving the Church of the Gesu, I got a call from Chris Hitzelberger inviting me back to VT as a full time missionary.
Your Impact
It makes my ministry possible! I will be directly interacting with students at Virginia Tech, inviting them deeper into relationship with God, community with others, and a more sacramental life.
