My Story

I grew up Catholic going to church on Sundays and even going to Catholic high school, but my faith was more in an academic sense than anything else. It wasn't until college at Virginia Tech that I met some Youth Apostles who were alive in their faith and helped me to transfer my faith from my head to my heart. It was through these years of spending time in personal prayer and frequenting the sacraments that I began to grow in my relationship with Christ. God called me deeper shortly after graduating college when I started volunteering in youth ministry near work. The past 8 years have been an adventure of leaving engineering behind based on a call I've discerned to serve young people in Youth Apostles for the rest of my life. I've been at various parishes and universities, but for this next stage of the adventure I will be serving at Bishop O'Connell High School as a Missionary and the Missionary Program Director!
